I am eager to organise a set time at which we will regularly play together. I think we should perhaps draw up an A team and a B team and play a best of 3 on a night that 10 players can all do.

I'm interested in any thoughts or suggestions anyone might have and please let it be known at what times practice would most suit you Very Happy

Agreed, i'm up for that. Teams A & B sounds like a good plan. Personally i'm okay to do most evening's after 7pm at the moment.

Couple of thoughts occured to me though:

How are we going to get round time zones? Isn't warmachine so many hours ahead of most of us? (i'm sure during our duel the other night he said it was nearly 3.30am where he was but it was only 10pm here at the time). We would need to find a mutual time that was fair for all.

Also if the clan list is correct we have an odd number of members so I guess we would have to manage that with the Team A/B set-up if we went with that.

Good few points!

WarMachine is usually about in the evenings when most of us are playing, even though it must be early hours of the morning for him.

Same with Rupesh, from Nepal.

It will probably be 2 evenings a week & 1 Eve at the weekend, to spread the time for members. Time could be 7pm to 10pm, this will cover various time periods - hopefully we will have enough players, so some can float in as others float out.

What it will probably be is the first 10 around to join a server, then we may have two random captains, and pick teams to keep them balanced.

Except if we are having a clan match, then we would have A team v B team sort of thing Smile

We'll see...

Team A should be handpicked by Ratware as team A leader

and Griff0 you should be Team B leader and use temporarily reversed clan tag colours Smile, just a suggestion though ofcourse Wink

Cool! Sounds good to me.

Another thought occurred to me tonight. Are we going to hog a public server for these practice sessions or is someone in the clan going to set up a private one? (admittedly I have no idea how we would do that myself!)

For the time being, we will have to hog a public server (as the vast majority of other clans do).

It seems only the privileged few get their own private severs, they are not available to the average player (even for a fee...).

yeah well worth everybody hanging out on voxli when online. its much easier to take over a server all at once if we can all hear/see the one message.

its well worth playing the public as a team but failing that its dead simple to make a new room so whomever is on each side cant hear each other Smile inorite more stuff to do before pew pew:P
